Navigating Transitionনমুনা
Ending well: Forgiveness
Enable me, Lord, to forgive those who have caused me harm or imposed changes on me that I would never have chosen.
Joseph was no stranger to change: the jealousy of his brothers resulted in slavery in Egypt; the lust and lies of Potiphar’s wife led to imprisonment; the dreams of Pharaoh saw promotion to the palace. Not one of these moves did Joseph initiate or choose. Yet throughout all these years we read that God was with him, and he prospered in whatever he did. Bitterness and unforgiveness tie us to the past and blind us to God’s goodness in the present.
