5 Days To Christmasনমুনা
When we celebrate the birth of Jesus at Christmas, we celebrate the fact that God became a person. There are a bunch of verses in the Bible that dive deep into this idea, but we love this verse in Matthew that says Jesus would be ‘God with us.’ Notice, it doesn’t say God against us, God for us only when we are doing good, or God for you but not for your friend; it says 'God with us.'
Just think about what that means for a second. Jesus would be born a baby, he would work for a living, he would experience the death of his best friend, getting betrayed by another friend, and being ridiculed by family and those he cared about.
He would also experience laughter, good food, helping people, and a few really good parties. Jesus would experience what it meant to be a human.
Today, go for a walk (even though it might be cold out) and take note of the things you see and hear. Pray about why it can be hard to believe that Jesus has experienced similar things you.

About this Plan
Beyond the Christmas movies, nativity scenes, and gift promotions—it’s pretty safe to say that there’s a sense that there should be more to the Christmas season. There might be more to the Christmas story than the one we’re told. The Christmas story is one that we have to experience for ourselves.
