Planting a Healthy Churchনমুনা
Trust Your Calling
One of the most important things you can do before planting a church is to clearly hear, respond to, and trust God’s calling on your life. God’s call isn’t past tense; He calls us to step into His plan daily.
Imagine a child playing outside who hears his parent call for him. What does he do? He runs to them because he recognizes the importance of his mom or dad calling him. And, this call isn’t a one-time call. It’s ongoing, all throughout childhood. The call becomes familiar and anticipated. God’s call is the same way.
God has chosen you, and He continues to choose you. He calls you because He loves you, not because He needs you to plant a church. Knowing how to plant a church is not the criteria you need. Being called by God is.
Think about that a bit more. Knowledge isn’t a requirement; the only prerequisite is being tasked by God. When we rely on our own power and strength, we can only go so far, but when we allow ourselves to trust God, we’re limitless.
As you read God’s Word today, let these scriptures be an anchor point for all God is doing now and will do later in your life. God doesn’t call those who are already equipped. He equips those He has called. Confirm your calling, and you’ll never stumble! Run hard to Him. Trust Him. And have fun!
