Real Hope: Forgiveness Changesনমুনা

A Spanish fable tells of the troubled relationship between a father and son that ends in fury and separation. The young man runs away leaving his grieving father behind.
The father scours the neighborhood and then the region for months, desperate to reconnect with his boy.
The father pays for an advertisement in a major newspaper: ‘Dear Paco, meet me in front of this newspaper’s offices at noon on Saturday. All is forgiven. I love you.’
That Saturday, 800 men of all ages named Paco turn up – each seeking for love and forgiveness from their fathers.
Our Father in heaven is daily offering us love and forgiveness. In Micah, we are reminded that God is active in His search for us. He delights in showing mercy. Our sins are trodden underfoot and our iniquities hurled into the sea.
In Jesus the man, we see the lengths to which our Father in heaven will go to scour time and space to reconcile with us.
Our Father stopped at nothing to draw us to Him.
Today, take a moment to consider how actively pursued you are by God. Meditate on all our God is doing even now for our family reunion. Allow that to change you. Then – answer His advertisement.

About this Plan
We've all experienced hurt and pain from wrongdoing - we believe that forgiveness can bring freedom and hope - that it can shine a light in a world where forgiveness is not always the most frequent response. To understand how forgiveness changes us, we first need to understand that forgiveness has been given to us by our loving heavenly Father.
