Walking in Your Purpose and Assignment With Focusনমুনা
In chapter 6 of Nehemiah, we get to not only see the confrontation but also the conclusion. I love this chapter. This is the chapter that makes this entire message have life beyond the pages. It is the chapter that allows us to see how our authority in guarding the assignment is critical, but it also allows us to see how involved in the process our God is. Nehemiah expresses his awareness of some very real situations, he exposes the hidden agendas, and he allows us to see a very real victory.
Here is what I want you to see: The enemy tried to use lies, fear, and intimidation to stop the work that Nehemiah was doing. Yet Nehemiah’s response was:
• To continue the work with greater determination
• To pray that God would address the actions of His enemies
• To complete the work
And those things were set in motion when he said this one line: “I am engaged in a great work, so I can’t come down.”
Those words have literally transformed my life. And used in the context of the work that God has given you to complete, my prayer is that they will transform yours too.
