Thirty Days of Thanksgiving and Worship

DAY 28 OF 30

Audacious Praise...

They sing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying: “Great and marvelous are Your works, Lord God Almighty! Just and true are Your ways, O King of the saints!”
Revelation 15:3

Amid John’s grand, unparalleled revelation of the end times, the Holy Spirit reveals to him those saints who have been victorious over the evil, end-time, beast. These believers who did not succumb to the beast or his wicked ways are now in heaven singing worship and thanks to the Most High after enduring probably the most horrific circumstances the world will have ever known or seen. They sing the song of Moses...

The song of Moses, found in Exodus 15, takes place after the miraculous crossing of the Red Sea. The Israelites are rejoicing. They are over-the-top jubilant. They are dancing, they are speaking – most likely shouting – and singing. They are ever so grateful and thankful.

We need to take a cue from these folks. Great deliverance beckons even greater and audacious praise. We not only need to find release from the weight of having walked through the dark times in our lives but appropriately offer crazy worship to the One who brought us through.

When the lame man in Acts 3:1-10 received the miracle of strength in his legs upon Peter declaring healing to him in the name of Jesus, he began walking and leaping and praising God. I am pretty sure he wasn’t doing this quietly.

What has the Lord done for you? What darkness has He plucked you from to bring you into His marvelous light? Recall circumstance after difficult circumstance.

And then offer some out-of-your-comfort-zone adoration to Him.
