Fight for the Faith: A Prayer Journey Thru Judeনমুনা
Day 11
Jude calls believers to fight for the faith—and to do so by the power of God, not our own.
There is a need to “contend,” as Jude put it, because evil people are attempting to lead people astray from God’s truth: “But these people blaspheme all that they do not understand, and they are destroyed by all that they, like unreasoning animals, understand instinctively” (10).
Heavenly Father, it was true in Jude’s day, and I fear it is true in our day. So may I live what I believe; may my life reflect the “fruit of the Spirit” (Galatians 5:22-23) in the midst of the body of Christ. I desire to be filled with and fully reliant upon the Holy Spirit. Enable me to stand firm upon Your Word, Father God, and help others do the same!

About this Plan
Jesus said that we will know the truth, and the truth will set us free (John 8:31-32). Yet our enemy, the devil, is bent on twisting God’s truth in his all-out efforts to "steal, kill, and destroy" (John 10:10). The epistle of Jude exhorts us to contend for truth. Let’s pray through Jude, and be emboldened today to fight for the faith!
