SE Students - Be the Branch - Part 4নমুনা
Chosen on Purpose
Have you ever been picked last for a team or a group project? Even if you haven’t, imagine that feeling. Imagine being on someone’s team only because you were the only option left. No one actually wanted you, but they had to pick you because you showed up. In the NFL draft, the player that gets drafted last is given a title: “Mr. Irrelevant.” Maybe that’s how you feel sometimes—that you are irrelevant, that God couldn’t possibly pick you. He must have made a mistake.
Does He actually know who I am? What people think of me?
If those questions have ever spun around in your brain, then take a look at 1 Peter 2:9. God calls you holy. Royal. Not because of anything you’ve done, but all because of Jesus’ sacrifice for you. When you receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you cannot be irrelevant, because you are a child of God. You cannot be a mistake because God doesn’t make mistakes. So how can you live differently today being confident that God chose you?
