Long ago, nature yielded her natural poisons to unnaturally advance the procession of the Caesars or rid us of other troublesome characters. Psychological warfare uses thought itself to defeat an adversary. There are few implements or machines that we have not used as human erasers.

The Bible is a sword to be wielded against the devil, and a light to be shined into a sin-darkened world. It is the most efficient weapon we possess for spiritual warfare. How true we are to our fallen nature when we use the Bible as a weapon to hammer one another.

Truth must be handled with love, lest the ultimate good be used for evil. We need only read of inquisitions and crusades to recognize the danger. We need only use the Scripture to a selfish end to repeat the pattern.
