Sharing Love With Your World!
More than 7 billion people live in our world today! The God of the universe—of all time and eternity—Truly. Loves. Every. One. Of. Us!!
The Bible states in John 3:16: “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him (Jesus) shall not perish but have eternal life.”
And we read in Mark 16:15: “Go into all the world. Preach the Good News (about Jesus) to everyone!”
If you study the Bible a bit further, you'll read of two worlds—the outside world that includes every person on earth, and each of our own small “worlds,” which includes people whom we know personally. It’s our responsibility, according to the Bible, to tell all people about the love of Jesus, whether they are in our immediate world or beyond our world.
Saying you love someone is easy. We all casually toss around the word “love.” However, it is much harder to do something or sacrifice something to demonstrate your love. God didn’t just say He loved us; He loved us through His actions. Therefore, He taught us how to love. In other words, love is an action word. God desires that His followers love others through their actions.
The greatest act of love you can do for others is to share the Good News regarding the need for people to believe in and trust Jesus Christ. When you lead others into personal relationships with Jesus, they can have hope in this life and an eternal life in heaven after they die.
Sharing with others is not always easy. However, God always gives us the strength to share His love. Practice with a family member or friends to gain confidence in sharing the love of God.
How awesome would it be if, when someone hears your name, they think, “That person loves people!”
If you first take time to encourage and help others in your world, it may give you a better opportunity to talk with them about becoming Christ followers. Choose to love and encourage all people.
Think about it:
How do people in your personal world show you they love you? What actions do they take to prove their love? How do they sacrifice something for you?
How can you actively show love to the people in your everyday life? And, what about others outside of your personal world?
About this Plan
How awesome would it be if, when someone hears your name spoken they think, “That person loves people!” If you first take time to encourage and help others at school, it may give you better opportunity to talk to them about becoming Christ-Followers. Choose to love and encourage His people.
