Humble Yourself and Let God Exalt You

Your Father detests pride and loves humility. He has given countless warnings against pride and exhortations toward humility. And yet people pursue the praise of others and do little to seek the praise of the Father. Though this is human nature, it must not be true of you. Realize that everything you have is because of the Father’s grace and mercy. Knowing that you are My representative, be diligent in all your labors so your efforts will bring glory to the Father and Me. Let your love and good works attract attention to the Father. When you receive praise, turn it toward the One who has given you all your gifts and talents. And when others say or do things that humiliate you, don’t react against them.

Realize that even if they meant to hurt you, they are unintentionally blessing you by helping you to be more humble before God. Child, if you will humble yourself and follow Me, you will be praised and exalted by the Father in His perfect time. A single word of His praise is more glorious than the praise of a million people. And, child, His exaltation is for eternity.
