The Revelation of Jesus Christ 2নমুনা
What an Amazing Event!
Then I looked, and I heard around the throne and the living creatures and the elders, the voice of many angels, numbering myriads of myriads and thousands of thousands, saying with a loud voice, “Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing!” (Revelation 5:11-12)
Revelation 5 is perhaps the most stunning example of worship in the entire Bible. Can you imagine this scene? It opens with God on His throne, holding a scroll. No one is found who is worthy to open the scroll, which contains the judgments poured out on Earth during the end times. John is weeping because no one is found.
Then a voice proclaims that the Lion of Judah will open it. John looks for the Lion, but instead he sees a Lamb. A Lamb that was slain, but is now standing. And then, four amazing creatures and 24 elders fall down before the Lamb in fervent, wholehearted worship. They begin singing a song of praise to the Lamb. A vast array of innumerable angels appears around the throne, singing praise to the Lamb who was slain.
At the next moment, the sky is filled with every creature in all creation, singing together a song of praise to the Father and the Son. Can you imagine such a crescendo of worship and praise? It would be the emotional equivalent of 10,000 Super Bowls and 10,000 World Series, and in each one your team wins at the last moment. The glory of God will be intoxicating.
At this point, the four amazing creatures will proclaim: “Amen! So be it! Yes!” And the elders, absolutely overwhelmed and undone by it all, can only fall down on their faces to worship. What an amazing event this will be. One day, this will all happen, and we will be there. Can you imagine?
