Real Hope: Lonelinessনমুনা
OVERCOMING LONELINESS
Whenever we feel lonely, it’s important to remember we’re not alone.
All of us – whether we’re Christians or not, can have times where we feel like no-one sees us, or can comfort us. The truth is, though, that feeling can only come when we forget the never-ending presence of God.
Isn’t it startling to think that the Creator of the universe and the Dad who knit us together in our mother’s womb (Ps 139:13), can be right here with us, but instead of leaning into Him, we get sidetracked and overwhelmed by feelings of isolation?
For sure, nothing can replace the bear hug of a good friend or laughing together over your favourite movie, but even in those times where we’re physically isolated, we always have God to turn to. And knowing that, as we see in Joshua, is the source of all our strength and courage.
No matter what the day brings and how singled-out we may feel in it, God is always here, and He’s always available to you.

About this Plan
You can feel lonely by yourself or in the biggest crowd, surrounded by people and still feel lonely. It is a feeling that doesn’t discriminate and can come upon us at a moment’s notice. But how do we cope with it? Can we see God in these moments? This plan aims to help us consider our response to loneliness and how we can seek God in these moments.
