Living Fearlessনমুনা
Recognizing our position.
Yesterday we read the world's definition of fear: “an unpleasant, often strong emotion caused by anticipation or awareness of danger.”
Notice how it says, “caused by an awareness of danger”. Right there, we should know that if we are feeling a sense of danger there is another spirit at work. Because, as God declares over us, His plans are not to harm us but to give us hope and a future. This should encourage us greatly.
Our struggles are against things we cannot see so we need to be actively engaging in the realm we cannot see. Otherwise, we will be tormented by anxious thoughts that can escalate into irrational fears that seek to hold us back from stepping into what God has called us to.
We do this through prayer—bold prayers—knowing that all authority has been given to Jesus. When He ascended into heaven, He didn’t keep it up there for Himself. He gave us the Holy Spirit to strengthen us and allow us to activate His power to be set free from demonic spirits, including fear. (Mark 16:17 NIV "And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name, they will drive out demons...") We are able to drive out the demonic forces of fear over our lives through The Name that is above all Names, no longer submitting to and being ruled by fear, but declaring it powerless by the blood and in the name of Jesus.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, Thank You for sending Jesus Christ, My Lord and My Savior, who was given and has now given me the authority to drive out evil spirits, in His Mighty name. Spirit of fear, intimidation, and oppression, I command you to leave me right now in Jesus' name. Holy Spirit. come and fill me afresh and comfort me. Fill the space where fear once resided with Your peace and unfailing love. Amen.
About this Plan
We either live by fear or by faith. Fear reacts to what's happening. Faith takes action and dares to believe that God is faithful to His promises, despite our current circumstance.
