[Confident Series] Confidence Instead Of Burden নমুনা
Confident in Life
The Scripture tells us that God’s commandments are not burdensome. In fact, God’s commandments are a blessing to our lives. They are not difficult. Life, on the other hand, can be burdensome. We need to recognize the difference. There is a complexity to life. Our daily existence can be full of burdens. There is, however, a simplicity to following God’s commandments. When we obey the Word of God, He will bless us amidst the burdens of life. The simplicity of the commandments of God will help us in the complexity of life.
Even though life can be complex, burdensome, and difficult, obeying God is always right. In other words, there is never a wrong time to do the right thing. When we obey God’s commandments, we are able to confidently say this to Him: “Father, I am not the one making the rules of how this game of life is played. I obey Your commandments. Now, I want to watch You do what only You can do.” When you do that, God will do what He promised. The Bible says that His promises to us in Christ are “yes” and “amen.”
You can trust God’s rain to always fill the reservoirs of your heart and to guide the flow of your rivers. Once you start to define the rivers, you begin to negate the rain. Let God flow in your heart and let God take care of the commandments. You just need to live them out. When you follow Christ, you will be blessed. The Bible says that God, who started the good work in you, will be faithful to complete it. Therefore, you can live your life with confidence.
When we are filled with God’s love, we can be confident in our Christian life. We can be confident in our giving, in our worship, and in our discipleship of others. We can be confident of our future. We can confidently sing this beautiful Christian hymn that says:
And because He lives
I can face tomorrow
Because He lives
All fear is gone
Because I know He holds the future
And life is worth the living
Just because He lives
We can live our lives daily without fear or worry. When God’s love lives in our hearts, we can confidently declare, with the Apostle Paul and the saints of old: If God is for us, who can be against us? No one.
About this Plan
How do we live a victorious Christian life in this sinful world? In the first devotional plan from the Confident Series, we learn about God’s rain of salvation that fills the reservoirs of our hearts. These reservoirs overflow into rivers of love to others as we live a life of confidence in God, His Holy Spirit, and ourselves.
