How To Trust Instead Of Worry নমুনা
Seek God First
The word “worry” is an Anglo-Saxon word that meant to strangle or choke. Isn’t that what worry feels like at times? We feel like the purpose in our life is strangled. We don’t feel like we can get through the anxiety. We feel like we are choking.
How do we grow in trust and away from worry? Well, peg hole number one is realizing that the Lord will provide all your needs. Peg hole number two is believing you can cling onto the power of God because He loves you. You are valuable to Him. Peg hole number three is seeking God and His righteousness first, and all these things (that you’re worried about) will be provided for you.
I heard this phrase once: Admit it, quit it, and beat it. Admit it: “Lord, I’m struggling.” Quit it: Stop the worrying. Just stop! And beat it. How are you going to beat it? In the book of Matthew, after Jesus tells us that the birds have food so stop having such little faith, and the fields have flowers so you will not lack because you’re much more valuable to God, He says in chapter 6, verse 33, “Seek first His kingdom and righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”
Have you connected this verse with worry, or have you just used it in Christianity? A lot of times, I’ve taken this famous verse and not realized it’s connected with worry. Verse 34 then says, “Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.”
Unfortunately, we’ve all found this verse to be true. We have plenty of worries about tomorrow. So the first thing we have to get to grow in our trust in God, and away from worry, is to seek Him first. Wake up and spend time with the Lord. The first heart that you have, the first song that you sing, the first thought, let it be for Him. Placing God first in your life is the first answer to trusting God.
Trust Jesus. Do not let worry get so heavy on you that it rips you apart. Instead, come back to the core of who you are, which is a believer in Jesus. Seek Him. Don’t worry about tomorrow, but live today in wisdom. Live today in a way that will bless your tomorrow.
I encourage you to repeat this prayer as you learn to worry less and trust God more. “Lord, I surrender and give this worry to You. As the birds of the air are taken care of, as the flowers of the field are ordained and made beautiful, I trust You to meet my needs. I’m not putting the fog first. I’m putting my trust in knowing that You have my life in your hands. You are my Savior, the Son that can burn off the fog.”

About this Plan
Anxiety and worry are rampant throughout our culture. This plan shows us that the end of worry and the beginning of trust are found in two foundational beliefs: believing God will provide for our needs and believing that we are valuable to God. Choose to trust Him today by seeking Him first and living in wisdom.
