Draw Nigh To Godনমুনা
Serve Christ.
“And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” Joshua 24:15 KJV
Honoring God is a choice. You have the choice to honor Christ in every aspect of your life. Or you can choose to serve your flesh — and worship the things of this world. Don’t wither. Choose to take time to honor God. Honor God in every aspect of your life. Honor God in your marriage. Honor God in your business. Honor God in your ministry. Honor God with all of your heart.
Choose to draw nigh to Christ. John 15:1 KJV declares, “I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.” Christ is the True Vine. Whatever your heart is searching for — can be found in Christ. That “thing” that your heart is longing for — can be found in Christ. Your heart is searching for Christ. Your heart is longing for Christ. He is what your heart is craving. There is no void that He cannot fill. Let God satisfy you. Let His Word water and nourish your soul. Choose to draw nigh to God. Choose to surrender to Christ daily. Draw close to Him.
John 15:4 KJV declares, “Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.” According to Strong’s Concordance, the Greek word for “Abide” is ‘menō’ (G3306), which means, “Dwell, endure, be present, and remain.” Let Christ dwell richly within the borders of your heart. Let Christ remain and be present within the borders of your home daily. Make the decision to serve and honor Christ. As for me and my house, we choose to serve the Lord.
