New to Faith: Allowing God to Transform Your Lifeনমুনা
God Has A Great Plan For You
You are made for so much more than your current situation. But how do you know how to move forward? Fortunately, the Bible shares that you have been made for a purpose. God planned for your life and obedience even before you were born.
Ephesians 2:10 shares: “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us a new in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.”
I went to the Compassion project at my church every week while in grade school. One week, my teacher shared something I’ll never forget. She said, “Kiwi, this might be your situation. Yes, you are poor, but this is not your destiny.”
Jeramiah 29:11 shares, “For I know the plans I have for you says the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you plans to give you hope and a future.” I often stop reading after this verse because I get so excited about God’s great plans for us. But the following verses continue to share truth I’d like to highlight.
Verses 12-13 go on to say, “Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search me with all your heart.”
We will only know God’s plan and see it come to fruition in our lives when we seek the One who made all things. At a young age, I begin to seek the Lord. I opened my Bible and meditated on His words. I began to grasp the promises He had for me. And I slowly saw His wonderful plans beautifully unfolding right in front of my very eyes.
Many will ask what God’s plan is for their life. But until we know who the Master planner is, we will never truly know what He has in store. Begin creating a habit of reading your Bible every day and praying to Him. It’s God’s gift to us! And it’s how you communicate with Him.
In every relationship, good communication is key. Don’t hesitate to tell Him everything and wait patiently for Him to answer. Because He promises to answer our prayers. Before starting your day, ask God to “give me ears to listen, eyes to see, and an open mind and heart to hear what You want to tell me.”
Prayer: Lord, I want to know Your plan for my life but more than that, I want to know You. Please show me how to have a relationship with You. Help me to trust that You hear me and answer me when I call upon Your name.
