What's My Job?
As you grow up and enter a career you’ll be given a job description. There will be plenty of tasks that need to be done at your job, but you’ll have specific tasks that you will be responsible to accomplish. How you fulfill that job description will determine how well you do your job.
When we say, “live for Jesus,” it seems a little vague. You might be wondering, “what is my purpose?” Today’s verse is the answer to that question. When you experienced salvation, you were rescued with a purpose. You were given a task!
You were rescued from spiritual death so that you can “live to tell what the Lord has done.” God has given you a story of resurrection and it’s up to you to tell it. The Bible says we overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony. Jesus has done his part by shedding his blood for you to live. Now it’s your turn to share your story!
Goal:
Psalm 51:15 says, “Unseal my lips, O Lord, that I might speak your praise.” Write out your story of salvation and then ask God for boldness to share it!
