HUMILITY 

As God’s children who love Him, we should know what God loves and what God is against, because of His holiness. Many times in the Bible God mentions that He is against those who are arrogant and supports those who are humble. The things inside our hearts are the mirror of who we are because what comes from the heart will be shown through our words and actions. 

We need to learn from the rice or wheat stalk. The fuller they are, the more they will bow their heads. The same thing should be applied to the children of God. The more we have, the more we should humble ourselves. People who have God’s wisdom will humble themselves as they realize that all of their successes happen because of God’s generosity.

Humble people are those who are willing to listen to constructive input and advice. They will take the advice and filter it with the Word of God. This humble attitude before the Lord will make us to see everything from His wisdom, because our hearts depend on the Word. 

The Word of God is the light in our lives. If our hearts are filled with the light of the Word of God then our actions will reflect His life to many people who live in darkness. They suffer and lose hope. The life of those who humble themselves before the Lord, however, will shine brighter. They are ready to share the light to this world. The Lord Jesus says that believers are the light of the world. 

People who have God’s wisdom will humble themselves as they realize that all of their successes happen because of God’s generosity.
