BEFORE THE LORD 

Who are we before the Lord? Compared to other creatures, we are His unique creation. He gives us His spirit that enables us to be connected with Him. Praise the Lord that He sent Jesus Christ to the world to become our redeemer and mediator with the Father in heaven. We are reconciled so that our spirit could be united with the Father in heaven.

Firstly, we can connect with God through songs of praise and worship when we come to bring the sacrifice of praise. This sacrifice will be a fragrance, a pleasing incense to the Lord. We do not praise God to please His heart so that He would bless us. We praise God because He is worthy to receive our praise due to His great works and love that He has shown in our life.

Secondly, we can connect with God through our prayers. He is a good shepherd. The Lord Jesus says that He is a good shepherd; the good shepherd listens and knows his sheep and the sheep know the voice of their shepherd.

God is our Lord, Father and shepherd. However, do not forget that He is also the King of all kings and the most holy king who is filled with glory.

Therefore, we must come to Him with a pure heart.
