Learning To Trust God In Everythingনমুনা
Trusting God Brings Miracles
For You
As the rain clouds formed, Noah saw God do a miracle. God brought the animals to the ark! Noah didn’t have to chase them down or catch them. He didn’t even have to convince them to stay on the ark, they just did. The animals did what was, for them, something very unnatural. Sometimes this is how God works: He drops things in our lap. Other times, God asks us to work. He didn’t build the ark for Noah. This is how God works with us, allowing us to do what we can while He's there to do what we cannot. We should consider it a privilege when we get to work for God’s promises. A collaboration with God is something we should cherish.
For Your Child
Ask this Question: Do you think that trusting God means you don’t have to work?
That’s not always true. Often we have to work very hard to get what God has promised. This doesn’t mean that God isn’t providing for us. It means that God is giving us an opportunity to participate in what He is doing. We should be thankful that God uses us to accomplish His purposes.
