I'm Optimisticনমুনা
NOT ONE THING
Reasons one through six make it clear that God’s plans are good news (gospel) for our lives. Not just for now, but for eternity. But what if something dislodged me from His plans? Through Paul, God answers in Romans 8:28 and 8:35-39.
- God is working everything in my life for good.
You heard Paul. “But what about that one time I _____?” Everything. “Or, how about when that person ______?” Everything. For those who love Him: everything. Say it out loud, “EV-ER-Y-THING.” Does this mean God made all this stuff happen to me? No. Does it mean He can make it all good? Yes. - Nothing can separate me from the love of God.
If you have a hard time believing this one, read Romans 8:38-39 about eight more times. The list of things that could never separate you from God’s love is quite robust, but to be safe Paul ends with, “nor anything else in all creation.” Why are we optimistic about this life and the next? Because nothing can separate us from God’s love extended through Jesus (the Gospel). What can? Not one thing!

About this Plan
Optimism doesn’t depend on what we see—it stems from what God says. This four-day Bible Plan from Life.Church unwraps eight reasons from Romans 8 to remain unwaveringly optimistic. Start reading part one of the six-part Stay Positive series.
