Face To Face: Prayerনমুনা
Last day! You have done a great job to make it this far! Now you know that you are capable of continuing this habit and praying every single day to our Father in Heaven!
The good things you have experienced over the last week are only a taste. The Bible encourages us to "taste and see that the Lord is good." (Psalm 34:8) That's what you have done this week! But knowing God gets better and better, like a food that tastes better every time you eat it. So don't give up!
As we finish up, our hope is that you would commit to continue going Face to Face with God! That is what you were made to do. And as you do it, this is the prayer that we have for you: "May God grant that... you may have strength to understand, along with all other believers, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep His love is. May you experience the love of Jesus, though it is too great to fully understand. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God." (Ephesians 3:17-19)
When we started this plan, we talked about how over the course of this plan we would try different ways to pray. There isn't one correct way to pray. Using Scripture to guide your prayer, or praying Scripture, or journaling are just some ways to pray. As you continue to seek God's face, choose whichever way of praying was your favorite! Or if you liked the variety, keeping changing between the three!
That being said, on our last day we are going to try journaling one more time. Get something to write on and something to write with.
Here's some context for our Scripture today. Paul, the author, had everything that should have made him happy before he met Jesus. He had money, he was respected, he seemed to have the perfect life. But when He became a Christian, his perspective changed. That's what he is writing about in Philippians 3. Read that Scripture, and then ask this question: "God, is there anything I am holding on to that I need to drop so I can run the race you want me to run?"
Remember, actually listen. There are many things that we hold on to: guilt, anger, acceptance from friends, popularity, comfort, pride, envy, lust, and many more. Believe that God will answer you, and write down the things that He tells you. Ask God to help you leave those things behind so you can live for Jesus.

About this Plan
Many of us feel like we experience God on spiritual mountain tops like camp or a really good night at youth group. Those experiences make us feel passionate and motivated to change! But what about the times between? We need to realize that God doesn’t want you to live mountain top to mountain top, or even church service to church service. He has invited you to live Face to Face.
