Now & Laterনমুনা
Imagine you're standing on a ladder. Your closest friend is standing below you at the bottom. Wouldn’t it be easier for them to pull you down off the ladder then it would be for you to pull them up to join you? This is true in every friendship.
The people closest to us have the potential to either pull us up or pull us down. That’s why WHO you spend time with matters for your life, both now and later.
If you’re surrounded by friends who pull you up, that’s great! But if you’re surrounded by friends who keep you down, consider what it would look like to change the nature of those friendships so that they don’t have as much influence over your life.
This week, try spending more time with the friends who lift you up—the ones who push you toward being the person you want to be.
