Although we may feel small and insignificant, when we are sharing, living, and spreading the Word of God, we are wielding great power. We wield the power that raised Jesus Christ from the dead, the power that created the earth and everything it, and the power that breathed life into the first human. God chooses and use the ordinary things in life to demonstrate His great power and love towards us. We can delight in God’s Word, because when we walk in it, we share in Jesus’ wonderful inheritance, His righteousness, and His great power. How have I been underestimating and minimizing God’s power within me? Father God, I thank You for choosing me…to love, to honor, and to cherish me for eternity. Lord, forgive me for underestimating and minimizing Your power in my life. Lord, give me strength, boldness, and confidence to share Your Word with all those in my sphere of influence. Let not their rejection or ridicule stop me from pressing forward, reflecting Your righteousness, and delighting in Your presence and Your Word. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
