A Friend Loveth At All Times.নমুনা
Friends Are Not Opportunist.
“A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.” Proverbs 17:17 KJV
Friends are not seasonal. A true friend loves at all times. Friends are not only loyal when it’s convenient for them — friends are loyal in all seasons. Proverbs 17:17 NLT states it this way, “A friend is always loyal, and a brother is born to help in time of need.” Friends are loyal at all times and a brother is born in adversity.
Notice, the Bible distinguishes the difference between a friend and a brother. A friend, is one who loves, counsels, sharpens and provides wisdom in every season of life. A brother is born through adversity. Friends are close. But brothers are born in fire.
Brothers are people who have an intimate relationship with you, when you’re going through a fiery season of your life. These “fire-forged” relationships are God-assigned brothers that are built with God-given purpose to carry you through the fire. Think of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed–nego in Daniel 3. These brothers were not separated by the fiery furnace. In fact, their brotherhood was built on faith and fire. They went into the fire together and came out of the fire together. Who are you willing to go into the fire with?
Sometimes the motives of others are only revealed by fire. It is the fire that separates. Who are your brothers? One has many friends but a few brothers. Only God can reveal who are your brothers.
