Love God Greatly - 1 & 2 Peterনমুনা
Peter reminds believers that since Christ died for our sins, we have power over the sin in our life and should live our life fully for God. Because the end is near, Peter then urges believers to be serious and remain alert and vigilant about praying. Most of all, he expects believers to love one another and be hospitable to one another. Evidence of our Christianity is demonstrated in our love for people and our actions on their behalf. Since believers will be spending eternity in Heaven together, it is important that we get along with each, are generous with each other, and support each other. This requires great sacrifice and humility, however Jesus Christ has ensured that we have the power to do so.
Who are you struggling to love in your church or in your ministry? Are you struggling with unforgiveness towards another Christian? Will you ask for God’s heart towards that person today?
