Strengthened In The Presence Of God নমুনা
OUR TIMES IN HIS HANDS
But I trust in you, O LORD; I say, “You are my God.” My times are in your hands. Psalm 31:14-15
As we finish with this reading plan today I want to remind you that your times are in God’s hands. Even the hairs on your head are numbered. No one can snatch you out of the Father’s hand (John 10:29).
And I want to challenge you to give the best time of your day to the Lord. Spend time in His Word. Meditate on what God says to you through His Word. Pray to God in your quiet times at His feet.
Ask the Lord to give you the strength not to quit. Ask Jesus Christ to give you the courage to go through the fires of life, so that when unbelievers look at you they will say, “Surely that man Jesus must be real. Look at how His followers face their suffering.”
Let’s take our eyes off ourselves today, and fix our eyes on Jesus, and on a world that is dying. Let’s forget about our troubles and help those in need. Let’s go out there and make a difference. Let’s be the salt of the earth and the light for the world. Let’s be different for the Lord.
God promised that He will never leave us and never forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). This promise is good enough for us. For we know that we would rather sail through a furious storm in a rowing boat with Jesus as the captain of our boat, than to be on a luxury liner on a quiet lake without the Lord with us. In His presence we are safe.
Father, thank You that You will never leave me and never forsake me. Thank You for Your promise that my life and my times are in Your hands. I feel safe with You Lord. Amen
