Killing It: A Study Of 1 Corinthiansনমুনা
Take the cross with you into your week. Ask God to allow you to live in the way of the cross.
Take it to your office or your school or where you volunteer and work under the cross. Make it your goal this week not to promote yourself, but to do your work diligently, cheerfully, constantly asking Jesus for his help, and looking to see who around you you might encourage.
Take tests under the cross. No cheating. No comparing. Do your best, offer it to God, let it go.
At meetings, pray that God would let some other person say something really smart. Pull for your biggest rival to shine the brightest.
Take the cross into your home. Ask God to help you be a servant to your roommate, or your siblings, or your spouse, or your children. Let the cross remind you that God has not put you in control over them—even tho you know their lives would go so much better if they’d just let you run them.
Help them. Listen. Care. Serve. Notice. Encourage. Speak truth. Give.
Take the cross with you as you travel around this remarkable Corinth where we live. Let it remind you to be humble, to listen, to learn, to notice, to serve.

About this Plan
Follow along as we reflect on the idea that #KillingIt is "killing us." This series will be inspired by the first 2 chapters of the book of 1 Corinthians, looking at Paul's intro into how to live a life in the way of the cross. "For the message of the cross if foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God." 1 Corinthians 1:18
