Back To School!নমুনা
Represent Jesus!
Let’s meet Nyabrwiri. She’s 9-years-old and lives in Tanzania. Nyabwrir and her mom shop at the market for food. They eat bread, vegetables, bananas, potatoes and dried fish. Nyabwriri also helps her mom wash clothes in a bucket of soapy water.
Nyabrwiri wants to be a nurse when she grows up, so she knows that going to school is very important! Nearly one child out of every three in her village doesn’t go to school. Sometimes their parents can’t afford to buy them supplies and uniforms. Other kids don’t have time to go to school because they work to help their parents pay for food. Or they may spend many hours collecting water.
Nyabrwiwi is busy, but she understands that school is important. She tries her best so that she can fulfill her dream to become a nurse. Nyabwiri says she likes to share Jesus with children in her neighborhood. She is Jesus’ ambassador.
Do you know what an ambassador is? We heard that word in our verse today. In a general sense, an ambassador is an official who acts as a representative of nation. So, someone might be an ambassador for Italy. That person would reflect the official position of Italy. So, when we’re called ambassadors of Christ, it means that we are chosen to represent Him! We are on duty 24/7, always representing our Savior.
You are called to be an ambassador for Jesus at school this year. Are you up to the task?
