Spread The Wordনমুনা
Say this out loud: People learn about Jesus when I live like Him.
Sometimes when we think about living like Jesus, we think about the things we’re not supposed to do, like lie or cheat or say mean things. But living like Jesus is so much more than a list of rules to follow. Living like Jesus is also making choices that line up with the things God values. For example, when we encourage others, we are living like Jesus. When we are helpful, we are living like Jesus. When we are generous, we are living like Jesus. The more you get to know Jesus, the more you will become like Him. The more you are like Him, the more opportunities you will have to lead others to Him because your life will be a shining example of what it looks like to know Him.
Watch the video, then use the Bible verse Matthew 5:16 to play Memory Match-Up. It will help you remember to let your life help lead people to Jesus.
Memory Match-Up
1. Write all of Matthew 5:16 on a piece of paper.
2. Cut out 10 rectangles from a different piece of paper.
3. Write two or three words from Matthew 5:16 on each rectangle. (You might have some rectangles left over.)
4. Turn all the rectangles over and mix them up.
5. Try to find the words of the Bible verse in order.
6. Play again without looking at the Bible verse.
Talk It Over:
The more we know Jesus, the better we can live like Him. What can you do today to know Jesus better?
What are some things you already do that show you are living like Jesus?
