Daily New Testament - Quarter 3নমুনা
Paul intends to visit Corinth again and deal with those who continue to question his authority and message. His goal in writing is for those who are still his opponents to reconsider so he doesn’t have to correct them when he gets there. He closes the letter with an encouragement for them to find ways to get along.
Although Paul may sound threatening, it is actually an attempt to avoid confrontation. He has given people multiple opportunities to correct themselves and is willing to forgive them, no matter how long it takes. We should follow his example. We should be slow to give up on someone who is headed in the wrong direction and always willing to take back the one who returns.
