The A.R.T. of Conquering Fearনমুনা
Fear is something that most of us struggle with at some point in our lives. It could be fear of rejection, fear of change, fear of failure, fear of death, fear of sickness, and the list goes on and on. In many cases, we do not readily identify those fears. Our fears show up as symptoms or actions indicative of some underlying fear. If the thought of moving to a new city, leaving family, friends, and familiar surroundings sends you into a full blown panic attack, you could be suffering from a fear of change or fear of the unknown. If you feel the need to always be in control of your life and your circumstances, you may have a fear of letting go or a fear of trust.
While fear is common, God does not desire for us to have fear. Fear of anything other than a reverent fear of God was never intended by God. The Word of God says in 2 Timothy 1:7 that God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. This scripture indicates that when we operate in fear, our power is reduced and our mind is not in a stable place. To walk in our purpose and destiny, we must walk in the full power of Jesus Christ.
Over the next few days, you will learn the A.R.T. of Conquering Fear.
