Praying for Israel: People Groups

Holocaust survivors The generation of Holocaust survivors is diminishing daily. A significant percentage of these elderly survivors live beneath the poverty line in Israel and struggle with loneliness. Pray that their needs will be met – physically, emotionally and spiritually. Pray that God will open their eyes to the Messiah Yeshua (Jesus) and they will receive Him in faith.
Immigrants God said He would gather His people back to Israel. Jewish people from all over the world long to “make Aliyah” or immigrate to Israel. Many have moved from Ethiopia, India, Russia and elsewhere. But once there, life isn’t always easy. Language, education and skills barriers often present difficult challenges. Pray for Israel’s immigrant population to assimilate and thrive. Pray also that they would hear the Good News and come to trust in Yeshua.
Messianic Believers Israel has hundreds of thousands of Messianic Jews who desire their Jewish brothers and sisters to come to faith in Jesus, the Jewish Messiah. Pray for these Believers, and that God will use them to reveal His love and the Good News to those around them.
