Daily New Testament - Quarter 2নমুনা
Like the story in chapter 19, Jesus again teaches that he expects us to use what he has given us for his use. The widow wasn’t given very much, but she gave it to God. Jesus then begins to tell of what will happen after his death. Some of his predictions refer to the destruction of Jerusalem that occurred about 40 year later and others refer to the time before Jesus returns. In both, he is predicting dark times ahead.
Although we are challenged to give our best to God, we must also realize that, in the end, it will take Christ’s return to make everything right. That is not to discourage us; we do what God says because he told us to. The outcome is always in God’s hands.
