The Good News Of The Gospelনমুনা
Many of us grew up in religious environments such as the church. Some of us were taught that God was a cast-iron being, somewhere far-off, not very accessible, and mostly disappointed in His creation because of the messes we’ve made. Because we have lived with this mindset for so long, it has driven us into cycles of dysfunction. Because we don’t understand the true message of the Gospel, we fail to see God as a loving Father. Because we don’t believe that He is good, we don’t fully trust Him, which always leaves us trying to micromanage our own future.
I feel like now is the moment to stop making our faith about denominations. Denominations are nothing more than groups of people gathering around doctrines they agree on. Maybe we should start gathering around spiritual fathers! It's time to stop making our faith about adherence to principles and all about reckless abandon to the One who is always good! We have to take the risk of trusting Him or we will always battle anxiety, wondering if God is going to eventually let us down. He is a loving, compassionate Father who is patient with us. He has plans to give us a future and hope! He will supply all our needs! As high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is His love - as far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our sins!
About this Plan
In a world of constant noise and chaos, the quest for hope is at a historic high! The rescuing hope for the world is not found in political band-aids, social programs, and committees, but only in the transforming power of the Gospel. My prayer is that this devotional will inspire you to focus less on adherence to doctrine, principal, and legalism, but focus more on radical devotion to Jesus!
