1and these are the birth/descendants of Esav, this is Edom. 2Esav has taken his wives from the daughters of Canaan: Adah the daughter of Elon the Chitti, and Oholivamah the daughter of Anah, the daughter of Tziveon the Chivi; 3and Basmat the daughter of Yishmael, the sister of Nevayot. 4and Adah has (to) Esav given birth to Eliphaz; and Basmat has given birth to Reuel; 5and Oholivamah has given birth to Ye'ush, and Ya'alam, and Korach. these are the sons of Esav, who are (to) him given birth to having become in land Canaan.
6and Esav has taken his wives, and his sons and his daughters, and all souls of his household, and his livestock, and all his beasts, and his all purchased property which he has acquired in land Canaan, and he is went (his) way in a land, away of his brother Yaakov. 7because their possessions is having been to great on to sit/dwell together, and this land of their sojourns has them not able bear/support of concerning their livestock. 8has Esav self settled on mount Se'ir; Esav this is Edom.
9and these are the birth/descendants of Esav the father of Edom on mount Se'ir. 10these are the names of Esav's sons: Eliphaz the son of Esav's wife Adah, Reuel the son of Esav's wife Basmat. 11and the sons of Eliphaz are having been: Teman, Omar, Tzepho, and Gatam, and Kenaz. 12and Timna is having been a concubine of Esav's son Eliphaz, and she has Eliphaz given birth to Amalek. these are the sons of Esav's wife Adah. 13and these are the sons of Reuel: Nachat, and Zerach, Shammah, and Mizzah. these are having been the sons of Esav's wife Basmat. 14and these are having been the sons of Esav's wife Oholivamah the daughter of Anah, the daughter of Tziveon; she has (to) Esav given birth to Ye'ush, and Ya'alam, and Korach.
15these are the chieftains of the children of Esav: the children of Esav's firstborn Eliphaz: the chieftain Teman, the chieftain Omar, the chieftain Tzepho, the chieftain Kenaz, 16the chieftain Korach, the chieftain Gatam, the chieftain Amalek. this are the chieftains of Eliphaz in land Edom. this are the children of Adah. 17and this are the children of Esav's son Reuel: the chieftain Nachat, the chieftain Zerach, the chieftain Shammah, the chieftain Mizzah. this are the chieftains of Reuel in land Edom. this are the children of Esav's wife Basmat. 18and this are the children of Esav's wife Oholivamah: the chieftain Ye'ush, the chieftain Ya'alam, the chieftain Korach; this are the chieftains of Esav's wife Oholivamah the daughter of Anah. 19this are the children of Esav, and this are their chieftains; this is Edom.
20this are the sons of Se'ir the Chori, the inhabitants of land: Lotan, and Shoval, and Tziveon, and Anah, 21and Dishon, and Etzer, and Dishan, these are the chieftains of the Chori, the children of Se'ir in land Edom. 22and the sons of Lotan are having been Chori and Hemam. and Lotan's sister is having been Timna. 23and these are the sons of Shoval: Alvan, and Manachat, and Eival, Shepho, and Onam. 24and these are the sons of Tziveon: Ayah and Anah. this is the Anah which has found the hot springs in the wilderness, when he has grazed/pastured the donkeys of his father Tziveon. 25and these are the children of Anah: Dishon, and Oholivamah the daughter of Anah. 26and these are the sons of Dishon: Chemdan, and Eshban, and Yitran, and Keran. 27these are the sons of Etzer: Bilhan, and Za'avan, and Akan. 28this are the sons of Dishon: Utz and Aran.
29this are the chieftains of the Chori: the chieftain Lotan, the chieftain Shoval, the chieftain Tziveon, the chieftain Anah, 30the chieftain Dishon, the chieftain Etzer, the chieftain Dishan. these are the chieftains of the Chori, according their chieftains in land Se'ir.
31and these are the kings which have reigned in land Edom, before it has reigned a king by the children of Israel. 32it has reigned in Edom Bela the son of Be'or; and the name of his city is having been Dinhavah. 33is Bela died, and on his place has reigned Yovav the son of Zerach, of Botzrah. 34is Yovav died, and on his place has reigned Chusham of land of the Temani. 35is Chusham died, and on his place has reigned Hadad the son of Bedad, which has struck Midyan in field of Moav; and the name of his city is having been Avit. 36is Hadad died, and on his place has reigned Samlah of Masrekah. 37is Samlah died, and on his place has reigned Sha'ul of Rechovot at nahar. 38is Sha'ul died, and on his place has reigned Ba'al-Chanan the son of Achbor. 39is Ba'al-Chanan the son of Achbor died, and on his place has reigned Hadar; and the name of his city is having been Pau; and the name of his wife is having been Mehetavel the daughter of Matred the daughter of Mei-Zahav.
40and these are the names of the chieftains of Esav, according their families, according their places, with their names: the chieftain of Timna, the chieftain of Alvah, the chieftain of Yetet, 41the chieftain of Oholivamah, the chieftain of Elah, the chieftain of Pinon, 42the chieftain of Kenaz, the chieftain of Teman, the chieftain of Mivtzar, 43the chieftain of Magdiel, the chieftain of Iram. this are the chieftains of Edom according their settlements, in the land of their possession. this is Esav the father of Edom.
