chapter nine
1and he did to them said: in truth tell I you (PL), there are there some, who stand here, who will not sample the taste of death, until they will see the kingdom of Hashem come with power.
2and in six days later takes Yehoshua with self Peter, and James, and John, and lead them up on a high mountain one themselves; and he did self transfigured before them; 3and his clothing did become dazzling, very white, as any fuller (of fabric) on the earth can not so white make. 4and Eliyahu (the prophet) did himself to them appear together with Moshe (Rebbeinu), and they did speak with Yehoshua. 5and answering says Peter to Yehoshua: Rebbe, it is good for us here to be; and let us make three tents: for you (SG) one, and for Moses one, and for Eliyahu one; 6because he did not know, what he should answer; because they have self very afraid. 7and a cloud is come and did them overshadow; and out the cloud is come a voice: the this one is my beloved son, him shall you (PL) listen! 8and suddenly, looking around themselves, did they more nobody see, except Yehoshua alone with them.
9and when they did go down from the mountain, did he them order, that they should anyone not tell, what they had seen, except when the Son of Man will be stand up again from the dead. 10and they did hide that word, and have self asked one the other, what it means the standing up from the dead. 11and did him ask, so to say: the scribes say, that Eliyahu must come to the first. (Malachi 4, 5-6.) 12and he did to them say: Eliyahu comes actually at first, and puts everything back (restored); and how stands written about the Son of Man that he will a many to suffer and to nothing made become? (Yeshayah 53, 3.) 13I tell you (PL) however, that Eliyahu is also already come, and they have with him done, what they have wanted, just as it stands written about him.
14and coming to the disciples, have they seen a great crowd people around they, and scribes hold with them a dispute. 15and immediately when the crowd people did him caught sight of, are they in awe become, and are him run toward and him give greeted welcome. 16and he did them ask: over what hold you (PL) with them a dispute? 17and one out of the crowd did him answer: Rebbe, I have brought to you (SG) my son, who has a mute spirit; 18and wherever he seizes him without, tears/rips he him, and he foams at the mouth, and gnashes with the teeth, and becomes dried out (rigid); and I have already told your disciples, that they shall it cast out; and they have not been able to. 19he however answering says to them: o, faithless generation! how long shall I yet be with you (PL)? until when shall I you (PL) tolerate? bring him here to Me! 20and they have him brought to him; and as soon as he did him caught sight of, did the spirit him immediately a tear/rip did; and he is fall down on the earth, did self roll around, foaming at the mouth, 21and he did ask his father: how long is already since the these is happened to him? and he did say: from childhood without; 22and often did he him throw in fire into and in water into, so that he shall him kill; but if you (SG) have in any way able, help us, and have mercy you on us! 23Yehoshua however did to him say: if you (SG) in any way able? all is possible for the one, who believes. 24immediately did the father of the boy a shout did, and said: I believe; help my unbelief! 25and when Yehoshua did see, that a crowd people were running themselves together, did he rebuke the unclean spirit, saying to him: you (SG) mute and deaf spirit, I order you (SG): go from him out, and you shall more not go in into him! 26and he did a scream do, and did him very much rip/tear, and did go out (from him); and he did become as death, that a majority did say, that he is died! 27Yehoshua however did him take by the hand, and him picked up; and he did himself stand up. 28and when he did go in in the house, did his disciples, quite alone, him ask: why are we not were able him to cast out? 29and he did to them say: the this one kind (evil spirit) can never way not go out, except through prayer and fasting.
30and they did from there go away, and did go through Galilee; and he did not want, that anyone shall it know. 31because he had taught his disciples, and to them said: the Son of Man will handed over to be into the hands of men, and they will him kill; and being killed, will he in three days later again stand up. 32they however did not understood that word, and were self afraid him to ask. 33and they did come to K'far-Nachum; and being in the house, did he them ask: about what were you (PL) self dispute were on the way? 34they however were silent; because on the way did they hold a dispute one with the other, who it is the greatest. 35and he has self sat down, and did call the twelve; and says to them: if one wants his the first, shall he be the last of all, and everyone's servant. 36and did take a child, and it set down in their midst; and he did it take in his arms, and to them said: 37who it will receive one of such children in my name, that (one) takes Me on; and who it takes Me on, that (one) welcomes not on Me, but the One, who did Me send.
38John did to him say; Rebbe, we did see one casting out evil spirits in your Name; and we have this him forbid, because he follows us not after. 39Yehoshua however did say: you (PL) shall him not forbid! because there is not there any man, who will do a miracles in my name, and who will quickly be able to speak evil on Me. 40because who it is not against us, that (one) is for us. 41because who it will you (PL) give to drink a small cup water, for my sake, because you (PL) belong to the Moshiach, in truth tell I you (PL), that (one) will never way not to lose his reward. 42and who it will mislead to the stumbling one of the these small ones, who believe would it be much better for him if a large millstone would buried on his neck, and he would thrown become in sea into. 43and if your hand misleads you to the stumbling, cut it off! it is better for you (SG) to enter into life into a cripple, than to have your both hands and to go in Gehenna into—in the fire, which extinquished itself not out, where their (grave) worm dies not, and the fire is not extinquished. (Yeshayah 66, 24.) 45and if your foot misleads you towards temptation, chop it off! it is better for you (SG) to enter into life lame, than to have your both feet and thrown to be in Gehenna, where their (grave) worm dies not, and the fire is not extinquished. 47and if your eye misleads you to the stumbling, take it out! it is better for you (SG) to go in in Hashem's kingdom with one eye, than to have two eyes and thrown to be into Gehenna into, 48where their (grave) worm dies not, and the fire is not extinquished. 49because every one must salted to be with fire. 50this salt is good; if however the salt becomes unsalty, with what will you (PL) it season? have salt in yourself, and live in peace one with the other.
