chapter fifteen
1I am the authentic/true vine, and my Father is the gardener. 2every branch in me, that bears not any fruit, takes he away; and every (one), which brings yes fruits, he prunes clean (branch), so that she shall bring more fruits. 3you (PL) are already clean, through the word, which I have to you (PL) spoken. 4remain in me, and I in you (PL), as the branch can not bring forth any fruits of itself alone, if she remains not on the vine, so (can) you (PL) not, if you (PL) remain not in me. 5I am the vine; you (PL) are the branches; who it remains in me, and I in him, that (one) brings a many fruits; because without me can you (PL) nothing do. 6if someone remains not in me, is he thrown outside, like the branch, and becomes withered; and one gathers them together and throws them in fire into, and they are burned. 7if you (PL) remain in me, and my words remain in you (PL), may you (PL) ask what you (PL) want only, and it will you (PL) done to be. 8in the this becomes my Father glorified, that you (PL) shall bring a many fruits; and be my disciples. 9as the Father did me love have, so have I you (PL) love have; abide in the love mine! 10if you (PL) will keep my commandments, will you (PL) remain in my love, as I have kept the commandments of my Father, and abide in the love His. 11this have I spoken to you (PL), so that my joy shall be in you (PL), and your joy shall to be full. 12the this is my commandment, that you (PL) shall love have one the other, as I have you (PL) love have. 13anyone has not any greater love than the these, that he shall lay down his life for his friends. 14you (PL) are my friends, if you (PL) do, what I command you (PL). 15I call you (PL) more not servants, because the servant knows not what his master does; I call you (PL) however friends, because all, which I have heard beside my Father, did I you (PL) to know let. 16not you (PL) did me choose, but I have you (PL) chosen, and you (PL) appointed, that you (PL) shall go and bring fruits, and that your (PL) fruits shall remain; so that what you (PL) will ask the Father in my name, shall he you (PL) give. 17this command I you (PL), so that you (PL) shall love have one the other. 18if the world hates you (PL), know you (PL), that it has me, before all, hated before you (PL). 19if you (PL) would have been of the world, would the world love have for that, which is her own; because however you (PL) are not of the world, but I have you (PL) chosen from the world, on account of the does the world you (PL) hate. 20remember this word, which I have you (PL) spoken: a servant is not greater than his master. if they did me persecute, will they you (PL) also persecute; if they had held/kept my word, will they also yours hold/keep. 21however this all will they you (PL) do on account of my name, because they know not Him, who has me sent. 22if I would not have come and spoken to them, would they not have had any sin; now however have they not any excuse for their sin. 23who it does me hate, that (one) has also hatred for Father mine. 24if I had not done among them the works, which any another has not done, would they not have had any sin; now however have they seen (the these) and have me yet hated and the Father mine. 25but (this occurs), so that it shall fulfilled to be the word, which stands written in their Torah:
with a hatred baseless have they me hated did.
(Psalms 35, 19)
26when however the Advocate will come, whom I will send to you (PL) from my Father, the Spirit of truth, Who comes forth from the Father, will He witness say about me; 27and you (PL) will also witness say, because you (PL) are have been with me from beginning on.
