letter to the Jews 6

chapter six
1therefore, leaving off the beginning of Moshiach's word, let us ourselves get closer to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead (Gal 3:21) works and of faith in Hashem, 2of the teaching of the Jewish traditions of the mikveh, of laying on of hands, resurrection of the dead ones and of eternal judgment. 3and the these will we do, if wills (it) Hashem. 4because it is impossible for the (ones), who are once enlightened become and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and turned participant in the Spirit the Holy, 5and have tasted the good word of Hashem, and the powers of the coming world (olam hazeh), 6and are fallen away shmad, them again to renew to repentance, because they hang up on the tree anew to self alone the Son of the Most High and subject Him to shame openly. 7because the ground, which drinks the rain, which comes often on it and gives out pasturage, which is useful for the (ones), who cultivated it, receives a blessing of Hashem; 8however if it gives out thorns and thistles, is it pushed aside and near to a curse; its end is burned to to be.
9we however are sure, beloved, about better things with you (PL) and which is accompany to salvation, although we speak in this way; 10because Hashem is not unjust to forget your (PL) deeds and the love, which you (PL) have show to His Name thereby, who you (PL) have served the saints and serve them still. 11but we desire, that each one of you (PL) shall show the same diligence to the fulfilment of the hope until to the end; 12so that you (PL) shall not be dullards, but be imitators of the (ones), who through faith and perseverance are become heirs of the promises.
13because when Hashem has made the promise to Abraham, so as He has not had any greater, by whom to swear, has He sworn by Himself alone, 14and said:
blessing, will I you bless
and increasing, will I you increase.
(Genesis 22, 17)
15and so, enduring patiently, did he obtained what was promised. 16because men swear by a greater, and the oath, as a confirmation, is by them the end in every dispute. 17and Hashem, wishing even more to show to the heirs of the promise, the immutability of His resolve, has added to this an oath, 18so that through two immutable things, in which it is impossible for Hashem to say lie, should we have a mighty encouragement, we, who are escaped (for refuge), so that to lay hold of the hope, which is put become for our sakes 19which is as a firmer and securer anchor for our soul and which goes into inside of the Parochet (Lev 16:2); 20where Yehoshua, as one who runs ahead, is for our sakes entered, becoming a kohen gadol on eternal according to the order of Melchizedek. (Psalms 110, 4)
