letter to the Jews 2

2
chapter two
1on account of that must we place more attention on the things, which we have heard, lest will we fall away. 2because if the word, which is spoken become through angels, was firm, and every transgression and disobedience did receive a righteous penalty, 3how then will we escape (a punishment) neglecting such great salvation? which is at first announced become through the L-rd and confirmed become to us through the (ones), who have Him heard, 4while Hashem has thereon testify was with signs and wonders and with various mighty deeds and gifts of Spirit the Holy, which He has distributed according to His will. 5because the future world, of which we speak, has He not subjected under angels. 6but someone has in a certain place witness said, so to say:
what is a man, that You (sing) shall him be mindful? or the son of a man, that You (sing) shall care for him? 7You (sing) have him a little lower made than angels, with honor and glory him crowned, 8and him placed over the works of Your hands: all You have subjected under his feet.
(Psalms 8, 5-7)
because subjecting all to him, has he not left any thing, which is him not subjected. but now see we yet not all subjected to him. 9we see however Yehoshua, Him, who is a little lower made than angels through the sufferings of death, crowned with honor and glory, that He shall, through Hashem's grace, taste the death for every (man). 10because it was fitting for Him, for whom all is and through whom all is, leading a many sons to glory, perfected to make through sufferings the founder of their salvation. 11because this One, who makes holy and the (ones), who are made holy, are all of one; on account of which reason He (is) ashamed Himself not them to call brothers, 12saying:
I will proclaim your Name to my brothers,
in the midst of the congregation will I to you (SG) sing.
(Psalms 22, 23)
13and again:
I will hope to him.
(Yeshayah 8, 17)
and again:
look am I and the children,
whom Hashem has me given.
(Yeshayah 8, 18)
14therefore, in as much as the children participate a common share in flesh and blood, has He also similarly common share participated in them (these things), so that through the death shall He negated make the one, who has the power of death, this means the Satan, 15and release the these, which are through the fear before death were subject (to) to slavery all days of their life. 16because He interests Himself in truth not on for any angels, but for Abraham's seed interests he Himself indeed on. 17on account of which He has had to in all things similar to be to His brothers, so that He shall be merciful and a faithful kohen gadol in the things, which have a relationship to Hashem, to atone (for) to be for the sin of the people. 18because thereby, that He Himself has suffered, being in a temptation, can He help the (ones), who do find self in a temptation.
