2 Corinthians letter 3

3
chapter three
1do begin we already again without self alone to commend? or require we ourselves, as some (others), in recommendations letter to you (PL), or from you (PL)? 2you (PL) are our letter, written on our hearts, being known and read by all men; 3for you (PL) have self shown, that you (PL) are Moshiach's letter through us prepared, not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living G-d; not on stone tablets, but on flesh tablets of hearts. 4and such confidence have we through the Moshiach to Hashem; 5not that of ourselves alone are we competent to reckon as anything regarding ourselves; but our competency is from Hashem, 6who has us also competent made (to be) servants of the new covenant, not of the letter, but of the Spirit; because the letter kills, the Spirit however makes alive. 7and if the ministry of the death, with letters engraved on stone, was with glory, so, that the sons of Israel have not be able to gaze on Moses' face on account of the glory of his face, what had still (glory) in the process of passing away. (Exodus 34, 29-34.) 8how therefore will then not the service of the Spirit be with more glory? 9because if the ministry of condemnation did have glory, how much more goes up over the ministry of righteousness in glory! 10because even the glory was nothing become glory in the measure because of the surpassing glory. 11because if that, which perishes was with glory, a many more with glory is that, which has a permanence.
12having therefore such hope, speak we much boldness, 13and not as Moses, who has put on a veil on his face, so that the sons of Israel should not gaze on the end of that, which had yet should cease (that is, the fading kavod); 14but their thoughts are hardened become? because until to the present day remains the same veil not unveiled (taken away) at the reading the covenant old (Tanach), because it becomes taken away (only) in the Moshiach. 15yes until the today's day, when (law of) Moses becomes read, lies a veil on their heart. 16when however (the Jewish people) will themselves will return to the L-rd, will the veil taken away become. 17the L-rd however is the Spirit; and where it is the Spirit of the L-rd, there is freedom. 18and we all, mirroring with an unveiled face the glory of the L-rd, to be transfigured in the same image of glory to glory, so as of the L-rd, who is Spirit.
