Exodus 23
23
1youi shall not raise a false report: put not youi hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness.
2youi shall not follow a multitude to [do] evil; neither shall youi speak in a cause to decline after many to wrest [judgment]:
3Neither shall youi Countenance (Face, appearance; show favor) a poor man in his cause.
4If youi meet youi enemy’s ox or his ass going astray, youi shall surely bring it back to him again.
5If youi see the ass of him that hates youi lying under his burden, and would refrain (restrain; refrein from acting) to help him, youi shall surely help with him.
6youi shall not wrest the judgment of youi poor in his cause.
7Keep youi far from a false matter; and the innocent and righteous slay youi not: for I will not justify the wicked.
8And youi shall take no gift: for the gift blinds the wise, and perverts the words of the righteous.
9Also youi shall not oppress a stranger: for you2f know the heart of a stranger, seeing you2f were strangers in the land of Mitzrayim [Egypt - The Narrow Place].
10And six years youi shall sow youi land, and shall gather in the fruits thereof:
11But the seventh [year] youi shall let it rest and lie still; that the poor of youi people may eat: and what they leave the beasts of the field shall eat. In like manner youi shall deal with youi vineyard, [and] with youi oliveyard.
12Six days youi shall do youi work, and on the seventh day youi shall rest: that youi ox and youi ass may rest, and the son of youi female servant, and the stranger, may be refreshed.
13And in all [things] that I have said unto you be circumspect (be watchful every way; take heed): and make no mention of the name of other gods, neither let it be heard out of youi mouth.
14Three times youi shall keep a feast unto me in the year.
15youi shall keep the feast of unleavened bread: (you i shall eat unleavened bread seven days, as I commanded youi, in the time appointed of the month Aviv; for in it youi came out from Mitzrayim [Egypt - The Narrow Place]: and none shall appear before me empty:)
16And the feast of harvest, the first fruits of youi labours, which youi have sown in the field: and the feast of ingathering, [which is] in the end of the year, when youi have gathered in youi labours out of the field.
17Three times in the year all youi males shall appear before the Lord-Adon [Ruler of the Earth] God-Yehovah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate].
18youi shall not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leavened bread; neither shall the fat of my sacrifice remain until the morning.
19The first of the first fruits of youi land youi shall bring into the house of the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) youi God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered]. youi shall not seethe a kid in his mother’s milk.
20Behold, I send an Angel before youi, to keep youi in the way, and to bring youi into the place which I have prepared.
21Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name [is] in him.
22But if youi shall indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto youi enemies, and an adversary unto youi adversaries.
23For my Angel shall go before youi, and bring youi in unto the Emori [Highlanders], and the Hitti [Terrorists], and the P’rizi [Dwellers in Unwalled Towns], and the Kena’ani [Merchant], the Hivi [Villagers], and the Y’vusi [Threshers, Trampled Under Foot]: and I will cut them off.
24youi shall not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do after their works: but youi shall utterly overthrow them, and quite break down their images.
25And you2f shall serve the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) your God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered], and he shall bless youi bread, and youi water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of youi.
26There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in youi land: the number of youi days I will fulfill.
27I will send my fear before youi, and will destroy all the people to whom youi shall come, and I will make all youi enemies turn their backs unto youi.
28And I will send hornets before youi, which shall drive out the Hivi [Wicked Villagers], the Kena’ani [Merchants], and the Hitti [Terrorists], from before youi.
29I will not drive them out from before youi in one year; lest the land become desolate, and the beast of the field multiply against youi.
30By little and little I will drive them out from before youi, until youi be increased, and inherit the land.
31And I will set youi bounds from the Red sea even unto the sea of the P’lishtim [Immigrants], and from the desert unto the river: for I will deliver the inhabitants of the land into your hand; and youi shall drive them out before youi.
32youi shall make no covenant with them, nor with their gods.
33They shall not dwell in youi land, lest they make youi sin against me: for if youi serve their gods, it will surely be a snare unto youi.
