Luke 24:6-7, 26, 44

He is not here, but has risen. Remember how He told you, while He was still in Galilee, saying that the Son of Man must be handed over to sinful men, and be crucified, and on the third day rise [from death to life].” [Ps 16:10]

Was it not necessary for the Christ to suffer these things and [only then to] enter His glory?”

Then He said to them, “This is what I told you while I was still with you, everything which has been written about Me in the Law of Moses and the [writings of the] Prophets and the Psalms must be fulfilled.”
