61
For the Music Director. With stringed instruments. A Psalm of David.
1Hear my cry, O God;
listen to my prayer. # Ps 4:1; 55:1–2
2From the end of the earth will I call to You, # Ps 77:3
when my heart is faint.
Lead me to the rock that is higher than I. # Ps 18:2
3For You have been my refuge,
a strong tower against the enemy. # Pr 18:10
4I will abide in Your tent forever; # Ps 23:6
I will take refuge in the shelter of Your wings. # Ps 17:8 Selah
5For You, O God, have heard my vows; # Ps 56:12
You have given me the heritage of those who fear Your name.
6Prolong the life of the king,
and may his years be like many generations! # Ps 21:4
7May he sit enthroned before God forever; # Ps 41:12
appoint mercy and truth to guard him. # Ps 40:11
8So will I sing praise to Your name forever,
as I fulfill my vows day by day. # Ps 65:1
