Let their lying lips be silenced, for with pride and contempt they speak arrogantly against the righteous. How abundant are the good things that you have stored up for those who fear you, that you bestow in the sight of all, on those who take refuge in you. In the shelter of your presence you hide them from all human intrigues; you keep them safe in your dwelling from accusing tongues. Praise be to the LORD, for he showed me the wonders of his love when I was in a city under siege. In my alarm I said, “I am cut off from your sight!” Yet you heard my cry for mercy when I called to you for help. Love the LORD, all his faithful people! The LORD preserves those who are true to him, but the proud he pays back in full. Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the LORD.

Looking for purpose? There's one thing keeping you from it: yourself. We create roadblocks from our past. In return, our purpose is flawed from the beginning. But like a mosaic, your purpose is made from the broken pieces. In the Makers & Monsters Devotional Plan, Josh White takes us through the story of David, and how "the man after God's own heart" was also flawed, yet so close to Jesus.
God has shown us what He requires (Micah 6:8) - to act justly, love mercy and walk humbly with Him. In this five day plan, we go deeper into humility with real testimonies from Mercy Ships, questions to help us apply God's word, and passages which draw us into His ways. We start with our identity in Him, and move on to the challenge of humiity.

Missionaries, pastors, and the average Christian will encounter suffering in their lives and the lives of those they love and serve. This devotion is designed to look at real-life stories illustrating how God uses suffering to teach, guide and mold us to be more like Jesus. By God’s grace, we can glorify God as we embrace suffering in our lives, knowing that Jesus willingly laid down His life for us.
Despite all the world’s connectivity and social media, studies reveal that isolation and loneliness have become an epidemic. Moreover, we can believe that we are invisible even to God. This devotional centers around four “invisibles” that were visible to God and the lessons we learn from them when we feel invisible and forgotten.
