Luke 12:12-14

Do you worry a lot? Most of us do. Overcoming Worry gives you four powerful ways to deal with worry in a godly way. In this reading plan you will learn to be real with God about your worries, to remember God’s faithfulness, to release your worries and to rely on Him.

What does the gospel say about your fears? What does it say about the irrational ones, like sinkholes in the Target parking lot? How does it speak to the rational ones, like PET scan predictions? And does the gospel have a word for the fears you feel you'll have for life, like the possibility of losing the one you love most?

When things are exposed – they are no longer hidden. People see it and they talk. Rather than dealing with the result of being exposed, we try so hard to hide – making excuses for these areas when they become visible. In Plan 9, Jesus exposes! He exposes our minds and hearts of people. Are there areas in my life that need the Light of Jesus?

This plan is a challenge to run the “race set before us” mentioned in Hebrews 12:1 in a way that will cause the fearful crowd in this world who are watching us to notice a difference in our lives. We will use 5 direct quotes from Jesus in Luke chapter 12 to guide our discussions and draw out our thoughts in these uncertain and often troubling times.
