It is exciting to know that Jesus fulfills the role as Your eternal Stairway (or ladder). I rejoice that He is the connection between You in heaven and all of mankind on earth. John 1:51 says: “He [Jesus] then added, ‘Very truly I tell you, you will see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man.’”

I pray You will keep my feet and hands securely on the Son of Man, the Stairway, so I will always be completely dependent upon Him and connected with You. All my hope is in Him. I pray You will reveal to all believers their urgent need to continually ascend the Stairway, and that millions of us will enjoy a lifetime of climbing on Him towards You. Please help masses of unbelievers soon be willing to take the first step up that ladder too. I ask these things in His name.
