Feeling Far Away From God?Пример
Sometimes it can feel like God is far away and hard to connect with. One of the reasons you might feel that way, as though your life is like a dry valley craving rain, is due to your disobedience. Disobedience to God creates spiritual distance. And any distance from Him will lead to a devastating level of spiritual dryness.
Sometimes drifting into disobedience happens subtly, with a few bad choices. You may start off with all the best intentions, but when you start to turn from God’s path you begin to rebel. Maybe it doesn’t feel like a big deal. It might not feel like rebellion. But the result is that you start drifting away from God and His plan and purpose. When that happens, you become spiritually estranged. In doing so, you damage the intimacy of your relationship with God and your life begins to feel like it is being lived out in a valley of dry bones.
If that sounds like where you are at—if you’ve become spiritually, emotionally, or relationally dry—it is most likely because you have drifted away from God. Distance is very often the result of disobedience. Now, I know that we all have dry moments or dry times. You can face a slump here or setback there, but that’s not what I’m talking about. If, however, you find yourself living in a dry place where every single day you wake up with no motivation, no passion and no spiritual fervor, it is probably because you have become distant from God. One thing that leads to prolonged distance from God is failing to align yourself under the rule of the King.
